Checking Polkadot Staking Rewards

1. Access the Polkadot Staking Portal

Open your web browser and navigate to the Polkadot Staking Portal at staking.polkadot.network.

2. Connect Your Polkadot Wallet

Before you can check your staking rewards, you need to connect your Polkadot wallet to the portal. Click on the "Connect Wallet" button and choose your preferred wallet from the available options. Popular options include Polkadot.js Extension, Ledger, and others.

3. Sign In and Select Your Account

After connecting your wallet, sign in using your wallet's credentials (usually a password or PIN).

Once signed in, select the Polkadot account you want to check staking rewards for.

4. Staking via Nomination

If you have staked your DOT tokens by nominating validators, you can check your rewards for this method by following these steps:

• Click on the "My Nominations" tab on the left-hand menu.
• You will see a list of validators you've nominated. Check the "Unclaimed Rewards" column to see the rewards that are available for claiming.
• If you have unclaimed rewards, you will also see a "Claim" button next to each validator. Click on the "Claim" button to claim your rewards.

5. Polkadot Pool Staking

If you have staked your DOT tokens in a Polkadot staking pool, you can check your rewards for this method by following these steps:

• Click on the "Pools" tab on the left-hand menu.
• You will see a card displaying the pool you are staking with. In this card, you can see the "Unclaimed Rewards" section, which displays the rewards that are available for claiming.
• If you have unclaimed rewards, you will also see a "Claim" button within the "Unclaimed Rewards" section. Click on the "Claim" button to claim your rewards.

7. Log Out and Secure Your Wallet

After checking your staking rewards, it's important to log out of the Polkadot Staking Portal and secure your wallet to protect your assets.
